PADI Pro Course
If you ask a lot of people about diving on Koh Tao, many will tell you that it is one of the finest places for divers to get more experience. This is because there are numerous dive sites on Koh Tao that are suitable for divers of all skill levels. The island of Koh Tao is breathtaking, both above and below the water's surface. Koh Tao is not very huge; the distance around the island is about 10 kilometers; nonetheless, the island is surrounded by coral reefs and beaches, one of which is Koh Nang Yuan, which is an absolute necessity for divers to check out when they are visiting Koh Tao.
Even though the waters along the coast of Koh Tao are primarily shallow, there are mostly composed of long stretchings of coral reefs in beautiful layers that are stunning to the eye. For that reason, the whole area around Koh Tao along various beaches or bays can be used as a diving spot that will give a great experience for novice divers that still need time to adjust their buoyancy skills and get used to the depths. Along the coastline, you'll also find a wide variety of fish species. In addition to that, the island of Koh Tao is home to several sunk ships that may be explored and photographed, as well as underwater caves that you can dive through depending on your experience.
Chumphon Pinnacle, Southwest Pinnacle, Sail Rock, and Shark island are just a few of the numerous remarkable diving locations that can be found on the outskirts of Koh Tao. Diving locations around Koh Nang Yuan are also accessible. Divers visiting those dive sites would, without any doubt, have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of marine life, including whale sharks, giant groupers, barracudas, and many more. (Subject to the amount of good fortune you have) When the boat sails between dive sites, you can often get the surprise to meet killer whales or even a group of dolphins. Ask our divers about this memorable experience. As a matter of fact, Koh Tao waters not only serve as a nursery for a great number of juvenile fish but also as a cleaning station for many larger marine species. If you ever take the chance to try diving in Koh Tao, you will undoubtedly find yourself falling in love with the island.
The diving schedule offered by our shop is made to arrange your holiday schedule. Whereas most shops on the island leave between 6.30 and 7 am, we leave for our morning dives at 8.15. Indeed, having one of the fastest boats on the island allows us to leave later than everybody and still arrive on time for the first dive. You are on holiday, who wants to wake up at 6 am? And for the laziest of you guys, you can just chill in bed in the morning and decide to go diving in the afternoon. We thought about you and we have divided our dive schedule into three-time slots: morning, afternoon, and evening for the night dives. Divers are allowed to participate in up to five dives each day.
