DIVEMASTER COURSE

Are you in love with the underwater world and want to experience even more? Perhaps you’re imagining a future working in the ocean. The first step to becoming a professional diver is to complete the Divemaster course. While you are immersed in this popular and enjoyable course, you’ll naturally become a part of our dive family. Take this time to explore and learn with other trainees and enjoy unlimited scuba diving.

Essentially, what does being a professional diver mean? It means taking care of our customers, assisting and organizing everything on the boat as well as in the water, looing out for our divers, and caring for all kinds of equipment. You should also be able to provide advice and guidance on dives, meanwhile providing excellent customer service during the duration of the customers’ courses.

There are two ways to acquire a Professional / Divemaster certification:

1. Intensive Program: The first method allows you to become a Divemaster in a few weeks’ time, making efficient use of your holiday to complete your training.

2. Training Program: This is the second option to become a professional diver. If you have enough time and intend to get the most of your diving experience, we recommend that you choose this option, which allows you ample time to learn how to become professional diver or Divemaster.

To become a Divemaster, you have to continue to practice diving. However, theoretical knowledge is important as well. Your comprehensive understanding of dive knowledge and theory will come into play, especially when you’re required do draw from your dive theory knowledge while assisting an instructor on a course. You’ll also learn how to give short and concise commands, how to map and navigate a dive site, as well as many more skills. Of course, you will be gaining loads of experience just through diving, diving, and diving!

To sign up for this course, you must be at least 18 years old and have already completed the Advanced Open Water Course, Rescue Course, and Emergency First Response Training (certified within the last 24 months). Additionally, divers must have logged at least 40 dives in order to begin this course.
